Japanese pet and house sitter
The dog is my favorite animal and I am the owner of an Australian Cobber Dog which is the breed for assistance and therapy dogs. She is a hypoallergenic, intelligent, quiet, human-focused dog. I am a registered MDBA (The Master Dog Breeders Associates) Breeder. If you know more about ACD please see here.
I have also a Cert III Dog Behaviour and Training certificate.
My dog Sky loves people but no other dogs. When I went back to Japan for a 4-week holiday, I was very worried about how to take care of my precious dog.
When I studied, I visited many Boarding Kennels, but I did not want to leave my dog with them. Then I chose a Pet Sitter. The couple who came to see me was a nice Japanese couple who sent me pictures and videos while I was in Japan, so I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in their care. I had many inquiries about pet sitters, but I think I was able to choose a trustworthy person based on my own experience of introducing an Au pair. Since I was in trouble, I thought others would be in trouble too, so I decided to start introducing Japanese pet sitters.

Q AND A
My concern is that there is no guarantee that they will stay for the stated period and there is no refund.
The sitter and host have never had to cancel before because both parties have agreed to do so on the assumption that the entire schedule will be requested. However, there is no guarantee that the cancellation will not happen due to some accident such as a traffic accident, illness, or injury. This is not only true for the sitter, but the host may also cancel the trip due to an accident, injury, or emergency of a relative. We do not provide compensation in such cases. We also do not offer refunds in such cases. We advise that if the sitter needs to cancel the sitter will find someone else to take her place, and if the host cancels the trip, the needs to be an alternative place for the sitter to stay.
Do they have a national police check?
I would like to introduce some Japanese who are on a working holiday. They have been in this country for a holiday for probably less than a year. They can get a police check, but I don’t think it means much. They are already screened by the Australian government when they get their working holiday visas.
If they need to cancel, can you find another person for the short notice?
They will not cancel once she accepts the offer. If she needs to cancel, she will find a replacement person then she will leave.
